Who are we?

Emollis is an e-commerce logistics management platform in Morocco, accessible via emollis.ma. We provide sellers with pickup, delivery, return management, and COD invoicing services.

This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data We Collect

For sellers

  • First name, last name, email address, and phone number
  • Front and back photo of the National Identity Card (CIN)
  • Information about your store: name, city, type of activity
  • Bank details for COD payments

For end customers (parcel recipients)

  • Full name, phone number, and delivery address
  • This data is entered by sellers and used solely for the delivery of the parcel

For couriers

  • Identity, phone number, and delivery zone
  • Delivery proof photos

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Create and manage your parcels, pickups, and returns
  • Assign parcels to couriers and ensure delivery
  • Calculate fees and generate your invoices
  • Make COD payments to your bank account
  • Send you WhatsApp and SMS notifications on the status of your parcels
  • Verify your identity during registration

Sharing of Your Data

Emollis never sells your data. It can only be shared with:

Meta (WhatsApp)

For sending tracking notifications

InfoBip

For SMS in case of WhatsApp failure

OVHcloud

Our hosting provider, located in France

Emollis Couriers

Within the strict limit of information necessary for delivery

Protection of Sensitive Data

Your CIN is an official document. It is:

  • Stored in a secure space, inaccessible to the public
  • Viewable only by Emollis administrators
  • Deleted 1 year after the closure of your account

Your passwords are encrypted and are never readable, even by our team. The address and phone number of your end customers are never displayed on the public tracking page.

Your Rights

In accordance with Law 09-08, you can at any time:

  • Access all data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request the deletion of your account and data
  • Export your data in a readable format
  • Withdraw your consent to non-essential communications
